Readers have really loved my Hope Beach series, and the 3rd book, Seagrass Pier, is now available!
In a secluded corner of Hope Beach, one woman must decipher a stranger’s memories . . . before they cost her everything.
Elin Summerall was one of the lucky ones. Not only did she get a heart transplant, but the donor was a perfect fit. A miraculously perfect fit.
But when Elin begins having violent flashbacks—and vivid dreams of being strangled—she realizes that she has been the recipient of more than just a new heart . . . Elin is remembering her donor’s murder.
Her strange affliction has attracted some unwanted attention: from the press, from the authorities . . . and from the killer himself. Now, living alone with her young daughter and aging mother, Elin is being stalked—by a man she’s only met in her nightmares.
The police are dubious of her story, but one off-duty FBI agent is eager to help her: Agent Marc Everton.
Now, in a remote cottage on Hope Island, Elin and Marc must probe the secrets buried in her borrowed heart. And there’s no time to waste. One man is desperate to silence her—before she remembers too much.
Hi Colleen!
I just pre-ordered this book and tried to download it to my kindle, but it said it would automatically put it there on the release date, July 1st…Didn’t you say it would be available to read on the digital version if you ordered early or am I mistaken? Sorry for any incovience! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with the world!
~Grace
Oh wait, now I see where you said it would be a great price if you ordered early! So sorry for the confusion! Can’t wait till July 1st!!!
I want to read your new book asap and not wait until my Sister or Friend lets me borrow their kindle. So super excited for this contest 🙂 thanks

I just finished Seagrass Pier and the map story line wasn’t finished. Does mean there will be another in this series that will let us know what happens?
I don’t know yet, Laura. I deliberately left that unfinished because I didn’t want it all tied up. 🙂
I just finished Seegrass Pier. Not having it all tidied up is driving me crazy. Please tell me there will be another book.
There might be another book. I never say never. LOL But I didn’t want to tie up the Cambodian lost city thread. I wanted it to stay lost. 🙂
Ugh….although I enjoyed the Hope Beach series, the lack of conclusion about the diaries and map in Seagrass Pier are frustrating. It’s not even just the location of the items or whether the Cambodian city actually exists that bothers me. It’s the story line within the diary that was never tied up. The reader never finds out what happened to Georgina or her children.
I wrote it that way on purpose, SnowLady. sorry it annoyed you, but I didn’t want it all tied up in a neat bow. Georgina was never the focus of the story, though I might go back and tell her story at some point.
In our book club, one lady asked about “Seagrass Pier” on page 277. How could Ben have asked about Elin’s transplant when she had not had it yet. They were on the cruise that Laura died on. The transplant was after she died, of course.
Just finished Beyond A Doubt. Will there b any more with these characters? Will Kade and Bree get together in another book?
there are quite a few Rock Harbor books. Here is the order: Without a Trace, Beyond a Doubt, Into the Deep, Abomination, Cry in the Night, Silent Night.
Definitely would love to hear the rest of the story from Seagrass Pier!
