If you loved the Rock Harbor books, check out Lost and Found, the newest one set in Rock Harbor. Emily, the little girl lost in the woods with her brother Timmy in Without a Trace, has been having her own mystery adventures. She’s 14 now. Here’s a little bit about it:
An old photo brings a shocking revelation and it’s up to Emily and her best friend Olivia to solve the case!
Fourteen-year-old Emily O’Reilly and her best friend Olivia Webster have a knack for solving mysteries. Emily has been busily training her new puppy Sherlock to be a Search and Rescue dog so that the two can lead search-and-rescue missions someday. So when Emily stumbles across an old photo of Olivia’s adoption day—a fact that has never been revealed to Olivia—the two quickly decide to uncover the mysterious details surrounding Olivia’s birth parents.
But the two bite off more than they can chew as they dig into learning more about Olivia’s adoption without notifying her parents. And to make matters worse, Emily’s mother Marika, a convicted felon recently released on parole, will stop at nothing to contact her daughter—a fact that Emily is not happy about.
When her beloved stepmother Naomi disappears, Emily takes it upon herself to connect the dots and conduct her own snow-bound search-and-rescue mission with Sherlock. Will Emily ever find the secret behind Naomi’s disappearance? And will Olivia ever learn the truth about her adopted parents?
I’m anxiously awaiting you next book. I’ve spent many plesant hours reading your books. I just finished Lonestar Angel and before that Rosemary’s Cottege. I have a hard time putting your books down.
I’m so glad you loved them!
Are you going to do any more books on hope beach. I loved tide water inn and rosemary cottage. I live in north carolina. These books take me to the outer banks a place i have never been. When i broke my back at work in 2008 i have read a lots of books. So i just wait for the new ones. Thank you
Oh yes! Seagrass Pier will be out next summer. I hope your back is doing better!
I have almost finished “Tidewater Inn” and am so excited that you have once more included Bree and Samson in another setting. I can’t wait to read the new Rock Harbor books and all of your new ones. I need a better list because our little library always has to order my books from the Door County Library system.
It made me happy to “see” Bree again too, Marlene! 🙂
I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the new Rock Harbor , Emily O’Reilly, series. When is the next book due to be published? Will you write another book in this series? Thanks!
I’m glad you loved the first two. Robin and I haven’t written any more yet. Not sure of the future plans yet. 🙂
I, also, hope there will be more Rock Harbor, Emily O”Reilly series. Gave each of our three grand daughters the first book for Christmas, meanwhile I read the second. Always good to read about old friends such as Bree and Sampson.
I’m so glad they loved them. 🙂 Not sure if there will be any more yet.
I have fallen in love with all of the characters in the Rock Harbor series. I just finished reading Lost and Found today. I anxiously await word that you will one day write another book in the series. I certainly have enough to keep me busy until then. I love how you bring belief of God into your writings.
I’m so glad! I still love that series so much, and I doubt I’ll ever really be finished with it. 🙂
Colleen,
My granddaughter read the first book in the New Rock Harbor Series and just loved it. She couldn’t wait until the second book came out. For Christmas I gave her the second book “Lost and Found” and she also really liked that. So now she is wondering when the third one will come out if you plan on doing a third one. I really hope so. It is so nice to have good reading for teenage girls. Thank you for doing this series and I hope there will be a third. Jennette Hoffman
Right now there are just two, Jennette. So glad she is loving them! We’ll have to see if we get to do more. 🙂
Just published my review of this book — love being able to introduce my students to new authors (new to them, familiar to me).
Hope we see more of this series! It will ba a book club read at our school!

I just discovered you about a month ago….and I cant stop reading….. I am making my library borrow your books from other libraries…. I am from Michigan so have really enjoyed reading the Rock Harbor Series…
I’m so glad you’re loving them, Michelle!
I love all your books. Just finished the last one Hope Beach but there was no ending. Will there be a 4th to clear up all that was hanging. I sure hope so.I want to know what all happened. Thanks
Just wondered if there are yet any plans for a 3rd book in the Rock Harbor series? My daughter loved the first two and was disappointed not to see any others! I see your replies back in January that there were no plans as of yet but I’m hoping that has changed by now?! 🙂
Nothing has changed unfortunately, Becky. Sorry! My main focus is adult fiction. The kids ones were just a small momentary detour. 🙂
I am from the Marquette Michigan and just finished reading your Rock Harbor series! It was so cool to read about a place that was familiar… it doesn’t happen very often. 🙂 The back of the book says that you live in Indiana, so how did you decide to write a series set in the UP?
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! We have vacationed in the UP often and love it. Lucky you to get to live there!
I have just finished reading Cry in the night and at the end of the acknowledgements there is a notation that there is a bonus on the website; however, I am unable to find it. Help.
Sorry, Virginia, but that is no longer available as it was incorporated into the novella, Silent Night. So if you already read Silent Night, you’ve already read that chapter. 🙂
love this book!! definetly one of my favorite’s
When will there be a second book to The Heiresses
sorry wrong author
Will there be any more books in the Rock Harbor Search and Rescue series?
There are no more planned. 🙁
I am new to your books, WOW I wish I wasn’t. Your writing style is so fluid that it holds my attention and I don’t want to put the books down. I am now acquiring all your books in their series. Can’t wait to read them all and then reread them again. Keep us in suspense and how the Lord leads us in all things. Thank you for your talent and using it for the Kingdom.
